Mark Albers grew up in Chicago and is a 35-year resident of Morton Grove. He holds degrees from the University of Illinois, DePaul University, and Northwestern University Kellogg School of Business Management. Mark has served on the St. Martha's Church Parish Council Finance Committee and as Council President. He is a past Morton Grove Chamber of Commerce member and served as Board President. In 2011, Mark was elected to the Morton Grove Library Board, serving as Board President and Treasurer until 2017.
Mark Albers is not beholden to the special interests, lobbyists, political hacks, or organizations that have given large sums of money and endorsements to his incumbent opponent for this office. He is a businessman with common-sense solutions that will create a brighter future for our kids, safer streets, and lower property and income taxes so businesses, jobs, and people will remain in a more prosperous Illinois. If these things matter to you, please vote for Mark Albers for your state representative.
Mark Albers and his wife, Carol, have raised two daughters in this district. That's how they learned the importance of a good education for success in life. His opponent has no children. As your Representative in Springfield, he failed to prevent (by inaction) the termination of the Invest In Kids Scholarship Program. I care about kids, and I will fight for Illinois kids. I ask for your vote so I can work hard to represent your interests in Springfield and to bring Universal School Choice to Illinois kids
