• People and businesses are leaving Illinois, taking jobs and taxes to other states.
• Illinois Property Taxes are the second highest in the nation.
• Economic growth in Illinois is the 4th worst in the nation.
• Illinois has lost 85,000 jobs and 241,000 residents since 2020.
• In order to keep existing businesses and attract new businesses, Illinois offers them tax credits, TIF Districts, and other incentives at the taxpayers' expense, and it's not working.
• The cost of gas, utilities, food, health care, and property taxes is making life worse for all Illinois's citizens.

Many Illinois Kids are being left behind with failing test scores from failing schools. Every child deserves access to an excellent education to reach their full potential in life. 

If you elect Mark Albers as your State Representative in Springfield, he will introduce legislation for UNIVERSAL SCHOOL CHOICE. This would empower parents to move their children and tax dollars to competing educational options. Parents could choose the Public School, Public Charter School, Private School, Tutoring, or Home-Schooling option that best suits their child's needs. School Choice pressures schools and teachers to improve educational results, maintain a safer school environment, increase accountability to parents, and increase vocational and career training, resulting in our kids' future success. 

THE CURRENT LEADERSHIP IN SPRINGFIELD HAS SERVED THEMSELVES AND THE SPECIAL INTERESTS AND HAS FAILED THE CITIZENS OF ILLINOIS, CAUSING DECADES OF DECLINE. 

We need new elected leaders in Springfield who will work for the people, not politicians and special interests who feed off Illinois's taxpayers. Mark Albers is that person in your Illinois house district.

• Introduce Legislation to reduce the Illinois Corporate Tax rate from 9.5% to 7.5% or less to attract and keep businesses in Illinois and not move to our neighboring states with much lower tax rates such as MO 4% KY 5% WI 7.9% IN 4.9% or IA 5.5% 
• Introduce Legislation to cap all Property Taxes at 1.5% of the properties market value forcing bloated local taxing districts to operate as efficiently as the private sector.
• Introduce Legislation to halt the creation of new TIF Districts which divert Residential Property Taxes to slush funds to subsidize commercial and industrial areas. With a lower corporate tax rate and lower property taxes TIF subsidies won't be needed to attract business. These are changes that will keep and bring good paying jobs to Illinois.

Mark Albers is not beholden to the special interests, lobbyists, political hacks, or organizations getting money, benefits, tax breaks, or jobs from Springfield. These groups have given large amounts of money and endorsements to his incumbent opponent for this office. Mark doesn't have two government jobs with two government pensions as his opponent has.
